Re: disable ADL log directory
Bryan, Thanks for your reply. The issue here is that you need to clear these log files once in a while, otherwise if too many logs there will be error from ADL (due to random number overlap with each other). Lide, There is no easy way to disable the production of these additional file creations. I t...

disable ADL log directory
Hi,
Is there a way to disable the generation of log directories? I set "DBG_OFF", but still although log files are not generated, log directories with message.log and request.log are still being generated.
Thanks!

Re: ADL_Unpacker destination directory
This is very useful. Thanks! You are correct that the DDSADL_CFG.xml file controls the output location of the unpacker. One can modify the following entry and use an environment variable like OUT_LOC and modify that environment variable prior to each execution: <config> <name>DMS_PATH</name> <config...

ADL_Unpacker destination directory
Hi,
I am aware that the DDSADL_CFG.xml specify the ADL_Unpacker destination directory. But is there a way to change the directory every time ADL_Unpacker is used? Any environment variable or command argument can do this?

Re: ADL_Unpacker causes Segmentation Fault errors
Hi, I also have some issues with ADL_Unpacker in the ADL4.1 package. I got this: Processing /data/data041/VIIRS_DATA/VIIRS-M11-SDR/20111121/SVM11_npp_d20111121_t1942260_e1943502_b00347_c20120830214928682851_noaa_ops.h5... I heard that ADL4.1 support parallel computing. Anyone has the details, e.g. how to setup, etc? Thanks a lot

Re: Problem with Cloud Masks Not Found in Input Path
Yes, all inputs must be present in the input directory. Or you can use more than one input directories separated by a colon ':' I use ~/CSPP/ADL/bin/ProEdrViirsOCCController.exe ~/CSPP/ADL/cfg/dynamic/withMetadata/ProEdrViirsOCCControllerLwFile.xml Also, do I need the LUT binary files in the same di...

Re: Problem with Cloud Masks Not Found in Input Path
There is no need to re-compile. It should work by just changing the Lw file. What command line you use to run the process? Lide: It seems like the OCC algorithm still looks for the granule ID associated with OCC sample inputs (provided with ADL) residing in $ADL_HOME/data/input/witMetadata/ProEdrVii...

Re: Problem with Cloud Masks Not Found in Input Path
Nima,
make sure the CM-IP corresponding to the granule is there. Can you output the granule IDs of the four CM-IPs? (It's in the metadata asc file)
