Hi Kathy,
Do you know where can i get archive data for N20 active fire products? It seems that NOAA Class only has archives for NPP EDR AVAFO.
Does it mean i have to process all N20 SDRs in order to get archive data of the fire products? Thanks.
Regards,
Songhan.

SDR 3.0 LUT database update without internet connection
Hi, Greetings from Meteorological Service Singapore! As part of the Singapore government security policy, we currently adopt a multi-tier architecture that separates internet and intranet zone. Our CSPP package sits in the intranet zone. To get around the internet issue, we download the ancillary fi...

Re: What is the difference between EDR and Active Fires 1.0?
Hi Kathy,
Does that mean in future we will see more smaller individual packages meant to replace EDR 2.0 algorithm?
Or will SSEC update the corresponding algorithm within the EDR package itself to ensure consistency?

What is the difference between EDR and Active Fires 1.0?
Hi,
Is there any difference between active fires products generated from
http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/cspp/viirs_fire_v1.0.shtml
and
http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/cspp/viirs_edr_v2.0.shtml
?
Thanks.

Re: How do i process RDR files older than Nov 2015 ?
Hi Kathy, 1. Thanks for the clarifications. Had misunderstood thinking that the data before 9 Nov 2015 would not work. Should have read more carefully. 2. I wish to reprocess RDR data from CLASS into SDR/EDR. The RDRs from CLASS are in 5-min swath and I am trying to merge all these individual swaths...

How do i process RDR files older than Nov 2015 ?
Hi,
1. I understand that in order to reprocess old RDR before Nov 2015, some special handling is required. Could you advise me how to do that ?
2. Anybody has any idea if it is possible to merge RDR swaths ?
Thanks.

Any plans for 375 m fire hotspot products?
Hi,
I would like to know if there are plans for CSPP to incorporate the 375 m fire hotspot products ? Currently the only way to get the 375m hotspot data is via the NASA DRL SPA.
Thanks.
