The CSPP SDRs stored on our FTP site are all compressed using HDF5 internal gzip compression to save space and bandwidth. This can increase the time needed to read data from the files. I installed and tested the current version of the ActiveFires SPA, and I found it took around 9 minutes to process ...

We've only tried loading the DBGE KML content into Google Earth. Can you give us more information about the problem? Does OpenLayers print any error messages?
