Can ADL found the right F-LUT?

Post by ljiang »

Hi, since the RDR->SDR process will now use daily F LUTs for the processing, I am just wondering if I can put all the F-LUTs in a single directory, and let ADL itself to find the right F-LUT it should use based on the "Effectivity" metadata info of the files? Does ADL just use the first file it found that meet the query criteria or will use the file that has the latest Effectivity start date?

Thanks!

You can indeed just put all of the files in the same directory. ADL will select the file with the latest effectivity start at or before the collection date of the input RDR and with an effectivity stop after the collection date. If there is a tie based on effectivity start, it will use the creation date of the LUT as a tie-breaker.
