CSPP SDR Version 3.1.3 Patch for ATMS

Dear Colleagues,

The Community Satellite Processing Package (CSPP) project at CIMSS/SSEC/UW-Madison is releasing a Patch for the CSPP Sensor Data Record (SDR) Version 3.1 software for Suomi NPP and NOAA-20 (Version 3.1.3) that affects the ATMS instruments only. This patch is in response to an operational ATMS algorithm change and Look-Up-Table (LUT) changes that occurred in NOAA operations on 15 October 2019.

What’s new in CSPP SDR Patch Version 3.1.3:

Update for new ATMS calibration routines and Look-Up-Tables.

The patch can either be included as part of a new CSPP SDR installation, or applied to an existing CSPP Version 3.1.2 installation. Please follow the instructions described in the CSPP SDR Version 3.1.3 Installation Guide found at the CSPP website:

Please note: The CSPP SDR Version 3.1.3 Patch is not inclusive; users need to install the Version 3.1.1 patch followed by the Version 3.1.2, and then Version 3.1.3 patches separately. Instructions for installing the Version 3.1.1 through Version 3.1.3 patches can also be found in the CSPP Version 3.1.3 Installation Guide.

The CSPP SDR version 3.1.3 software, documentation and test data is now available for download at the CSPP download website.
