Details: The VIIRS BB heater will be set to 297.5K on 12/16/2013 at
06:00:00 GMT. The VIIRS BB heater set point will then be increased
every three hours: 302.5K at 09:00:00 GMT, 307.5K at 12:00:00 GMT,
312.5K at 15:00:00 GMT, and finally 315.0K at 18:00:00 GMT. After an
additional three hours at this set point, the BB heater will be turned
off at 21:00:00 GMT and allowed to cool. After 24 hours of cooling, the
BB heater set point will be set to 272.5K and turned on at 21:00:00 GMT
on 12/17/2013. Three hours later, the set point will be increased to
282.5K at 00:00:00 GMT on 12/18/2013. Finally, the set point will be set
to the nominal value to 292.5K at 03:00:00 GMT. At this point in time,
the VIIRS Emissive band calibration will be complete, and the mission
notice will be closed.
