CLAVRx ancillay SST files

Post by kathys »

Due to the US Government shutdown, the creation of the Sea Surface Temperature (SST) files used as input dynamic ancillary data by the CSPP CLAVRx cloud retrieval software (naming conventions avhrr-only-v2.YYYYMMDD.*.gz) has ceased. The CSPP CLAVRx software will fail after 7 days without these files. The CSPP Team has decided to rename the most recent SST file to a current date once per week to ensure the CLAVRx products continue to be created. Because the SSTs do not change quickly, this should not affect the quality of the retrievals, unless the SST product outage continues for a long time.

Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
