CSPP Geo GRB instructions for GOES-19

As of the date of this forum post, the current released version of the CSPP Geo GRB software package is 1.0.28.

To prepare for processing GOES-19 in CSPP Geo GRB, this is what you need to do:
  • Edit the file RT-CSPP/jsw/conf/grb-ingestor.conf and specify the intended satellite(s) the software should process

    If you are running Version 1.0.27 or newer, we recommend edit the file as follows:

    wrapper.java.additional.3=-Dconfig=GOES-R-Series.xml

    (The GOES-R Series configuration will process any satellite in the series, GOES 16, 17, 18 or 19)

    If you are running Version 1.0.26 or older, you must edit the file as follows:

    wrapper.java.additional.3=-Dconfig=GOES-19.xml
Stop and restart the ingest process:

./cspp-geo-grb.sh stop
./cspp-geo-grb.sh start

...and, assuming you have a satellite receiver system pointed at GOES-19 with adequate Signal/Noise, that's it!
