Hi, I ran your test case with our own Himawari9 data, the results of which you can find at

Try the Geocat output files in this tarball in your assimilation and let me know if you still get a problem.

Thanks for your answer. But in fact, these are the files from "old" himawari data with which I don't have any problem. It is since they moved to the new thredds data service that I have issues. I pushed to ftp.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/incoming/ the tarball DATA_20250202_0600.tar.gz with the data that cause the segmentation fault. Could you do the run on these ones please?

Thanks for your reply. However, I think there is a mistake in the tarball, it's still the 2024 data and not the 2025 that were converted (DATA_20250202_0600.tar.gz tarball in pub/incoming)
