Hi.
I wanted to get the latest versions of the AUX files for VIIRS, so I obtained the latest auxiliary file packages from CLASS. When I unpack the RPM files, I find binary files, but no metadata files. How am I supposed to go about creating ".asc" files for these binary files? Manually?

If you have ADL 4.0, you can run the "ingest" functionality. This is described in user manual part 2, step "5.9.8 Bringing New Externally Formatted Data into ADL". The user manual is located at $ADL_HOME/doc/UG60917-IDP-034A_IDPS_ADL_SW_Users_Manual_Part_2.pdf
If you're using ADL 3.0/3.1 you won't be able to do that. Then you will need to create the files manually. If you're still on an older version, you could still make an ADL 4.0 install on your system in a different location and keep your existing install. Just make sure to source the correct envSetup.*sh file.
