Hi,

I am looking at using CSPP ACSPO SST to process level 1B AVHRR. There is no CSPP package for (automatic) AVHRR GCP correction. Outside of Terascan's navboxes/nav2 what other (free?)software is used by the CSPP community for this purpose?

This is pretty old - but I think this was implemented at Western Australia’s (then) Department of Land Administration. This is a method (using Landsat “chips” of known GCPs to automatically match against AVHRR observations), not software.
