Geo2Grid Beta release for GOES-18 ABI support

With the upcoming operational interleave of GOES-17 and GOES-18 that will begin on August 1, 2022, the CSPP Geo team has decided to release a Geo2Grid Version 1.1 beta in order to allow users the capability to create GOES-18 Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) images from standard Level 1 Radiance Files.
The beta version is available for download from this site:
https://bin.ssec.wisc.edu/pub/CSPP/geo2 ... 5-beta2.gz
The same execution command can be used for all ABI instruments (
geo2grid.sh -r abi_l1b -w geotiff -f <path to data>).

Hi,
I know a user that uses my geo2grid scripts that seems to have a bug with geo2grid latest beta (that I'm not using btw). He installed it to use for GOES-18 interleaving on GOES-17. Since then, he's experiencing these errors (attached)
Do you know what could solve this or what makes them happen?

Luc, sorry that it took so long to respond.
You have identified a bug in the beta software. Thank you for reporting it. It will be fixed with the official release of Geo2Grid Version 1.1 which is imminent.
