Unable to produce VIIRS SDR outputs with CSPP 4.0 but VIIRS geolocation matches

I followed the instructions in the CSPP_SDR_Installation_Guide_v4.0.pdf and am having mixed results running the test cases in the installation document.

I have installed Ubuntu 20.04.6 with WSL (though I also tried CentOS7 install also and same results) on a laptop with the specs shown at the bottom of this post.

The CrIS SDR geolocation and SDR products match and validate completely on my installation.
The VIIRS SDR geolocation is produced and matches the results in the installation. However, the VIIRS SDR products are not produced as products are removed when a NAN or INFINITY error is encountered in the M3 band for all granules.

OMPS SDR products are produced but only the geolocation and the NP products match. The TC SDR product does not match but is produced.

ATMS SDR is in a similar fashion, produced products but only the geo is matching I believe.

The VIIRS SDR product having NANs or INFINITY makes me think that an input is possibly bad or there may be an endian issue on an input.

I downloaded only LUT and ancillary data for the test data date.

Anyone have any thoughts on why the VIIRS SDR is unable to produce results in this setup?

Hi,

Sorry you are experiencing problems. Run atms_sdr.sh -d and send me the cspp logfile and a log file from the first granule subdirectory. Send the entire file. srmindock@wisc.edu. Your machine seems to only meet the minimum specs and we do not have a lot of experience with windows machines.
