Metop-B MIRS product quality has been degraded due to the noise trend in channel 6 for a while.
This has produced noise-related striping in the mid-tropospheric temperature maps and decreased the product quality in the mid and upper-tropospheric temperature and Total Precipitable Water (TPW) products.
